i had this idea to try and make the game SCP-087-B scarier, but i wasn't sure how to do it. then sempai was like, "annatier." i had to think about it, but i decided that she had a good point, so i re-textured the game to have a "silent hill" feel.
i called it "annatier's descent" because this staircase filled with disturbing sounds and creatures could represent what happens to her and i when we spiral into that deep depression that's VERY dangerous for my own safety. of course, this is all a metaphor for my attacks, the ones that come if i don't have my meds and i fall WAY down.
in the beginning, anna says, "hello, my name is annatier. welcome to my world. i hope you weren't planning on leaving... BECAUSE YOU WON'T BE." the rusty, bloody door says "don't leave" because she wants to trap you in this horrid hell she pulls you down into.

the blood on the door suggests that someone or something was desperately trying to get out. on the walls in the starting room, it says "LIFE IS A PARTY." Annatier wrote this because she likes "cupcakes" and thought it was a perfect thing to write. what she means by it is that you're definitely going to experience a "party" before your life ends, but in her hell, the "party" is NOT a good thing, nor is it fun.
