been watchin some ghost videos, and i don't believe in ghosts as much as i used to. but i attempted to record my TV screen to see if anything happened. nothing did, and i had it on for nearly an hour. but i DID notice certain reflections on the side of my TV look like faces! so that proves that, just because you see a face, doesn't mean it's a ghost. and these "faces" didn't move.
I wish I could still believe in the paranormal. As I've gotten older, everything I've ever been fascinated by and everything I ever believed in seem to have been ripped from me. Magic and mysticism has become dead to me, and I can't reconcile with it. Unfortunately, it's made me slightly bitter.
Reitanna, if you ever do find proof, please share it! I want to believe! ::throws on The X-Files theme song::
I understand that... My friends and I used to try to be clever, and only asked questions in our minds. We thought that at least that way, the only person who could be cheating is the one who asked the question in the first place. I was dead serious about it, so I never moved it for the sake of spooking everyone. Unfortunately, I didn't get any responses. :c
i want to find a haunted place, like a place people have claimed to see things, and go there to see if i can get anything on camera. buuuuuuut my city is soooooooooo boring...
I feel you! I would love to as well, but I need a fellow adventurer! All of my friends are pretending to be all grown up now that they're in their 20's (they need to lighten up!). Come to Massachusetts! We have some spots that should be rife with paranormal activity. Lowell would be perfect; all of the old textile mills. I'm sure there were plenty of fatal accidents there that could have bound some souls to the place. There's one in particular that's falling to pieces; it's really beautiful at night. :3
Yeah... The issue with going alone (for me, at least) is less about the potential of running into scary ghosts. It's more closely related to the potential of running into flesh-and-blood people... Especially in abandoned buildings, it's definitely important to explore in groups.
Haunted hotels sound really exciting, and I agree that it would be really fun to check one out someday! I haven't seen 1408. I'm guessing it focuses on a haunted hotel? Is it a good flick? I'm constantly looking for good horror movies, but I'm usually somewhat disappointed... I feel like many, especially newer films, focus so much on special effects and costume budgets that they sometimes forget to really build the plot up properly, which is a bummer. Also, I have nerves of steel, so it's difficult for me to find that scare factor that I crave. If you have any good recommendations, I would be very appreciative. :3
I think I spelled that wrong
but that is my fav subject
