ain't he a cutie? this is actually my second design for him, I tossed the first one. I'm glad I did though, because this looks MUCH better!

razz's real name is randy, but he has long since forgotten his last name, as he is over three hundred years old. you'd think you'd be unable to forget something like that, but razz is extremely laid back and doesn't stress the little things. he is the only vampire in the house, having been a friend of the founder. because of this, he's almost "second in command" next to eliza, which is good because he is much stronger physically than she is.

he is VERY perverted, hitting on pretty girls and making sexual innuendos whenever he can. however, his pervertedness is only verbal, and he doesn't cross the line of teasing and sexual harassment, and he never gets physical without consent. he acts pretty immature sometimes, but he is actually astoundingly responsible and has a great amount of common sense. he's also more intelligent than he lets on. razz also has a very good hold on his vampire instincts, meaning he won't go crazy and attack someone for food. however, he is unable to keep sane if there is fresh blood, such as an open cut, or even a woman menstruating. because of this, there's a house rule for women to never wear skirts, dresses, or shorts when on their period, only pants. but razz still has a brief sense of awareness before he completely loses it. if he smells fresh blood, he will immediately run down to the basement and lock himself inside. the ghosts who live down there are used to this, and watch him until he calms down, in which case one will come up and find someone to let him out.

razz gets his food supply from the "monster" markets that are held in secret from human society. the blood he purchases come from different animals, as it is very hard to obtain human blood legally. he doesn't mind it much, as he's only tried human blood once, and that was when he was a very young vampire.

on the back of razz's neck are many safety pins poking right through his skin, but because he is dead, it doesn't bother him. he keeps them there so that he always has them, and the reason for THAT is in case someone else needs one. the safety pins are to check items that are suspicious, as they might be the even more perverted than razz shape shifter, Jeremy. razz is also the only one allowed to interact with Allison without eliza supervising because her powers don't affect him. because of this, he and Allison are "frienemies," meaning they converse and acts as friends, but still have certain reasons to hate each other, mostly on Allison's end, as she's frustrated that she can't manipulate him to let her out.

with these characters, I'm taking the easy way out and tracing bases, though, for those of you who have used bases, you know that even the best ones have serious proportion problems, so I end up tweaking them anyway. I really like how he turned out, I think I really was able to capture his sex appeal and cool attitude. he's definitely one of my favorite characters in the story.
